Grim Life: Happily Ever After Isn't So Happy falls into a genre I don't read often. But I'm glad I gave the book a chance because I absolutely fell in love with it.
A lesbian, erotic, fantasy retelling of Grimm Brother's SNOW WHITE, CINDERELLA, and LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD.
Snow White never expected her step mother to be so bad, in such a delicious way. Taking a bite of the beautiful forbidden fruit offered by her father’s wicked wife had consequences. The question wasn’t if Snow White was going to pay, only how. — Book One: Sour Apple
Little Red didn't mind getting bit by the beast . . . until Grandma found out. Every girl needs secrets though and Little Red is hell bent to keep her indecencies out of the public light . . . this time. Secrets can devour you though and the beast is hungry. Can Little Red satisfy the monster of the forest or will she become just another casualty of passion? — Book Two: Bite of The Beast
Cinderella was used to being a slave but . . . what does passion and pleasure have to do with clean floors? Nothing that Ella knows of but her two evil steps sisters are hell bent on showing her. Lady Eleanor is finally in control though. Her first order of business won’t involve passion or pleasure, but her second very well might. — Book Three: Clean Sweep
My Review: (5 stars) Grim Life is an excellent take on three of the classic fairy tales: Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, and Cinderella. I love how the author managed to bend and twist these stories into an unique, highly entertaining read. I smiled, I giggled, and I read it all in one sitting. I even found myself catching my breath as I made my way through the pages. The characters spring to life and carry you with them on their erotic romps. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, fun, slightly naughty book to pass some time with.
**I have also read Loving Anna by Autumn Breeze. It's a wonderful love story. You can read my review here.
In October 1991 Autumn Breeze was born at 11P.M in Clarksville, Tennessee where she grew up in a large family consisting of two brothers, one sister, dozens of cousins, a couple of dogs, multiple cats, and just as many chickens.
In May 2008 she moved to Mississippi with her husband and had a son in November of the same year. She is also the owner of a hyper active dog with a bad habit of chewing on everything including but not limited to shoes, dishes, clothes, feet and hands.
Writing has always been a passion of hers. As far back as she can remember, she has been writing. Paper and pen or laptop and keyboard, she is at home with both.
LOVING ANNA is her first published work. GRIM LIFE is her second. You can visit Autumn's website and follow her on twitter.
