Hello, November

November is always one of my busiest months of the year. In addition to the usual hustle and bustle of work and normal life, I always participate in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). 50,000 words in 30 days? As we're already 7 days into the month, the insanity has started.

Plus, it's time to decorate for Christmas! My favorite holiday. I've got to sweet-talk the husband into climbing into the attic for all my stuff and then cajole him into setting up and fluffing the tree. Then I have to delve into preparing for Thanksgiving dinner and buying Christmas presents. I can't wait.

It's also time to start watching those cheesy Christmas movies that come on TV, as well as the classics that I love so much. My favorite is It's a Wonderful Life. I also like the Garfield Christmas movie (Does anyone else remember that one?) and A Christmas Carol (the one with Sir Patrick Stewart).

I'm working hard, trying to get my next book ready for you. Bourbon Street Heat will be coming in January! I'm also getting everything and everyone in my house ready to celebrate the coming season.

Do you have any time-honored traditions you and your family participate in?
